'The Rays Of Light' - An Excerpt From The REZ's EDGE by Brad Jensen
The rays of thousands of stars discover a path into a set of blue and brown eyes. If the light from these stars can find there way into our pupils, then maybe Cheryl can also find her father. I'd like that for her. At least I knew my Dad. He's gone, and I miss him terribly, but I knew him, loved him, and he loved me. I really hope Cheryl get's the chance to experience that. I really do.
“Are you getting cold?”
“Maybe just a little.”
“Let's go back in and dance then, okay?”
“Okay, I'd like that.”
“Me too.”
Her hand grasps mine. We rise from our perch and float back to the door.
